How do you know if you need braces?
Signs You Need Braces
- Early, late, or irregular loss of baby teeth.
- Adult teeth came in late or delayed.
- Teeth that meet abnormally or not at all.
- Jaws and teeth are out of proportion to the rest of the face.
- Crowded, misplaced, or blocked-out teeth.
- Missing or extra teeth.
- An overbite or underbite.
Can you just go and get braces?
Yes! You will be able to get braces or aligners during your first visit. But before we recommend treatment, we will need to perform an orthodontic evaluation and determine the best treatment for your smile.
How many visits before you get braces?
The first appointment for adhering the braces will take about 2 hours, but subsequent appointments usually take between 15-20 minutes. Patients with traditional braces should expect scheduled visits every four to eight weeks.
